Local SIP Server

If the project uses a local SIP server for door communication integration, the ComfortClick Intercom app must be configured with the correct SIP account settings.

SIP Server Prerequisite

Before configuring the ComfortClick Intercom app, make sure the local SIP server is already installed, running, and correctly configured.

Check the following before starting the app setup:

  • The SIP server is active and reachable on the network.

  • Indoor and outdoor unit numbers are created.

  • Correct usernames and passwords are assigned to each SIP user or device.

  • Call routing between outdoor and indoor units is configured.

  • Additional actions are configured, such as door release, gate opening, entrance light control, or other supported functions.

Each SIP server or intercom system may use different settings, naming, and configuration options. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the specific SIP server or door communication system used in the project.

After these settings are confirmed, continue with the ComfortClick Intercom app setup and enter the SIP account details provided by the SIP server configuration.

ComfortClick Intercom SIP Server Settings

Open the ComfortClick Intercom app and select Use Your SIP Account. Then enter the SIP server details provided for the project, including the username, password, SIP server address, and connection type.

After the SIP account is connected, configure the required intercom device settings, such as the outdoor unit, camera stream, door release command, light command, and other available actions.

Once configured, the app can receive calls from the door station, display the camera stream, provide two-way audio communication, and allow users to control actions such as opening the door or turning on the entrance light.

If a local SIP server is used, open the ComfortClick Intercom app and select Use Your SIP Account.

Enter the required SIP server information, including:

  • Username

  • SIP Domain

  • Password

We recommend using a UDP connection.

  • Opening the door

  • Turning on a light

  • Triggering other supported actions

Once everything is configured, the intercom system is ready to use.

When someone presses the doorbell button, the panel or smart device will ring and the Intercom app will open. Users can then see the live camera stream, communicate with the visitor using two-way audio, and perform available actions such as opening the door or turning on the light.
