Siedle Integration
For Siedle integration, ComfortClick commonly uses the Siedle SIP server, usually through a Siedle Smart Gateway device.
In this setup, dedicated numbers are assigned to internal units or devices. When a visitor presses the call button on the outdoor unit, the call is routed through the Siedle SIP server to the correct internal unit.
This allows the selected indoor device or application to ring, so the user can answer the call and communicate with the visitor.

Smart Gateway Settings
In Siedle Smart Gateway, internal users or devices can be created as IP users. Each IP user can be assigned an In-Home bus address, which allows the outdoor unit or call button to route the call to the correct internal destination.
IP Users or Devices
If several internal devices should ring from the same call button, they can be added to an IP group. The IP group is then assigned to the relevant In-Home bus address or call function.
Add one IP Device for each indoor unit or internal device used in the project.
For example, if the project has three indoor units, create three separate IP devices. Each IP device represents one destination that can receive calls from the outdoor unit.
IP Groups
After all IP devices are created, navigate to Groups and create a new group. Add the required IP devices to this group.
When the outdoor unit calls the group, all IP devices assigned to that group will ring. This allows multiple indoor units, panels, or applications to receive the same call at the same time.
This setup is useful when one entrance call should be answered from several locations inside the building, such as reception, living room, office, or multiple apartments/devices.
IP User Settings
Under IP User Settings, configure the connection and call settings for each IP user or indoor device.
Typical IP user settings include:
Username
Defines the SIP username used by the IP user.Password
Defines the SIP password used for authentication.SIP Server Address
Defines the SIP server address used for the connection. In most cases, this is the same server address used for the main SIP connection.DTMF Mode
Defines how DTMF commands are sent. DTMF is commonly used for actions such as opening the door or triggering other intercom functions.Direct Dial Number
Defines the number used to directly call this IP user or indoor device.External Camera Stream
Allows an external camera stream to be assigned to the IP user. This can be used to show the camera view when a call is received.
These settings allow each IP user to register correctly with the SIP server, receive calls, use door-opening commands, and display the correct camera stream during intercom communication.
DTMF Settings for Door and Light Control
To open the door or turn on a light from the ComfortClick Intercom app, the correct DTMF settings must be configured.
In the intercom or SIP server settings, navigate to:
Basic Settings > DTMF
Then configure the DTMF numbers for the required actions, such as:
Door Release
Used to unlock or open the door.Door Light
Used to turn on the entrance or door light.
The same DTMF numbers must also be configured in the ComfortClick Intercom app. When the user presses the door release or light button in the app, the app sends the matching DTMF command to the intercom system.
This allows users to answer the call, communicate with the visitor, open the door, or turn on the light directly from the Intercom app.
After the SIP server, IP users, groups, and DTMF settings are configured, the ComfortClick Intercom app can be connected to the SIP server.
ComfortClick Intercom Setup
Since we are using Siedle Smart Gateway as a local SIP server, open the ComfortClick Intercom app and select Use Your SIP Account.
Enter the required SIP server information, including:
Username
SIP Domain
Password
We recommend using a UDP connection.
Make sure to use the same settings as were set for the device (correct username, SIP domain and password).
SIP Device settings
After logging in to the SIP server, additional devices and functions can be configured. To do this, select Add Device and enter the required device settings.
To control the door, gate, or light from the ComfortClick Intercom app, make sure the correct action numbers are entered in the app settings.
These action numbers must match the DTMF commands configured in the SIP server or intercom system.
For example, in this project:
#50 is used to turn on the light
#61 is used to open the gate
When the user presses the light or gate button in the Intercom app, the app sends the corresponding action number to the SIP server. The SIP server then triggers the configured action, such as turning on the entrance light or opening the gate.
Camera Stream Settings
For Siedle integration, the system uses its own IP camera stream with a custom streaming URL.
To display the camera stream in the ComfortClick Intercom app, enter the complete stream address under Video Stream URL.
Make sure the full URL is entered exactly as provided. Every symbol, letter, and character is important, and the URL may be case-sensitive.
After entering the URL, double-check that the address is complete and correct. If any part of the stream URL is missing or written incorrectly, the camera image may not be displayed in the app.
