2N integration
1. Overview and prerequisites
This manual describes the complete configuration process for integrating the 2N IP Verso 2.0 IP intercom with the Linhome cloud-based SIP service and ComfortClick Intercom application. Before starting with integration, make sure the devices are:
2N IP Verso 2.0 connected to the local network via PoE switch or injector
A computer or laptop on the same local network as the device
A web browser (Chrome or Firefox recommended)
Linhome cloud account created:
Visithttps://subscribe.linhome.org/register/email and create a free account
Creating an account can also be done directly on the ComfortClick Intercom app
ComfortClick intercom app installed and logged in on an Android or iOS device
3. Accessing the Web Interface
The 2N IP Verso 2.0 has a fully featured built-in web interface. No additional software or proprietary app is needed to configure the device.
3.1 Finding the Device IP Address
The device obtains its IP address automatically via DHCP when connected to the network. To find the assigned IP address:
Log in to your router/switch admin panel and look for the DHCP client list.
Look for a device named '2N IP Verso' or similar. Note its IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.x).
Alternatively, you can use any IP scanning software to locate the intercom (e.g. Advanced IP scanner)
3.2 Logging In
Open a web browser on a computer connected to the same local network.
Navigate to: https://<device-ip> (replace <device-ip> with the actual IP address found above)
Accept any browser security warning about the self-signed certificate.
Enter the login credentials when prompted:
Field | Value |
Username |
|
Password |
|
NOTE: You will be prompted to change the default password on first login. Choose a strong password and store it securely.
4. SIP Account Configuration
This section covers configuring the device's SIP identity and connection to the Linhome cloud SIP server. All settings are found under the Calling menu in the web interface.
4.1 Basic SIP Identity
Navigate to: Calling > SIP 1 > Configuration tab
Configure the following fields in the top section of the page:
Field | Value |
Display Name |
|
Phone Number (ID) |
|
Domain |
|
NOTE: The Phone Number (ID) field must match the username portion of your SIP account URI. For example, if the full URI is sip:comfortclick@sip.linhome.org, enter 'comfortclick' here. The Domain must be the SIP server domain, not your local router IP.
4.2 Authentication Settings
In the same page, scroll down to the Authentication section and fill in:
Field | Value |
Authentication ID |
|
Password |
|
4.3 SIP Proxy Settings
Scroll down to the SIP Proxy section and configure:
Field | Value |
Proxy Address |
|
Proxy Port |
|
NOTE: Enter only the domain 'sip.linhome.org' in the Proxy Address field. Do not include 'sip:' prefix or username — just the bare domain name.
4.4 SIP Registrar Settings
Scroll down to the SIP Registrar section and configure:
Field | Value |
Registration Enabled |
|
Registrar Address |
|
Registrar Port |
|
NOTE: Registration Enabled must be checked. Without this, the device will not register to the Linhome server and calls will not work.
Click Save (floppy disk icon, bottom right). After saving, wait 10-15 seconds and scroll back to the SIP Registrar section. The Registration State field should now show REGISTERED. If it shows NOT REGISTERED or an error, refer to the Troubleshooting section.
5. Directory — Adding the Call Destination User
The 2N IP Verso uses an internal Directory to manage call destinations. The physical call button on the device will call whichever user is assigned to it. This section covers adding the Linhome account as a user in the directory.
5.1 Creating a New User
In the web interface, click Directory in the main navigation menu.
Click Users in the left-hand sidebar.
Click Add User (or the + button) to create a new user entry.
Fill in the User Basic Information section:
Field | Value |
Name |
|
| |
Virtual Number |
|
5.2 Setting the Phone Number
Scroll down to the User Phone Numbers section.
Under Number 1, click the pencil (edit) icon to open the Edit Phone Number dialog.
Configure the following fields:
Field | Value |
Phone Number |
|
Call Type |
|
Preferred SIP Account |
|
NOTE: Enter the full SIP URI including the 'sip:' prefix in the Phone Number field. Setting Preferred SIP Account to SIP 1 ensures calls always use the registered Linhome account.
Click Use Number to confirm the phone number entry.
5.3 Enabling the Time Profile
This is a critical step that is easy to overlook. The Time Profile setting controls whether the phone number is active. If left disabled, the button will not make calls even though everything else is configured correctly.
Still in the Number 1 section, locate the Time Profile row.
The Time Profile has a radio button selector. Ensure it is set to the enabled/active state (the radio button pointing to the clock icon should be selected, not the disabled state).
Leave the time profile dropdown as [not used] — this means the number is always active.
Click Save at the bottom of the page.
NOTE: If the Time Profile radio button is in the disabled/off position, the phone number will be inactive at all times and the call button will return a busy signal. Always verify this setting after creating a user.
6. Mapping the Call Button
After configuring the SIP account and directory user, the physical call button on the device must be mapped to dial the correct user. This is done under the Calling > Dialing menu.
6.1 Quick Dial Button Assignment
In the web interface, navigate to Calling in the main navigation.
Click Dialing in the left sidebar.
Select Quick Dial Buttons.
You will see a list of Main Unit Buttons. Button 1 corresponds to the primary call button on the intercom.
If Button 1 shows 'No User', click the + icon next to it.
In the Add User dialog that appears, locate and select the user created in Section 5 (comfortclick).
Click Add to confirm the selection.
Click Save.
NOTE: The physical call button is now linked to the Linhome SIP destination. When a visitor presses the button, the device will dial sip:yourusername@sip.linhome.org via the Linhome cloud, which will ring the Linhome app on all registered mobile devices.
7. Verifying the Configuration
Once all settings are saved, verify the complete setup using the following checks.
7.1 Checking SIP Registration
Navigate to Calling > SIP 1.
Scroll down to the SIP Registrar section.
Confirm that Registration State shows: REGISTERED
If it shows NOT REGISTERED or a failure reason such as '403 Forbidden', refer to the Troubleshooting section below.
7.2 Test Call from Web Interface
Navigate to Calling > SIP 1 > Configuration tab.
Click the Test Call button.
Enter the full SIP URI: sip:yourusername@sip.linhome.org
The Linhome app on the mobile device should ring. Answer the call to confirm two-way audio works.
NOTE: If the test call works but the physical button does not, the issue is with the button mapping or the Time Profile setting on the directory user. Re-check Sections 5.3 and 6.
7.3 Physical Button Test
Ensure the Linhome app is open and showing as Registered/Online on the mobile device.
Press the physical call button on the 2N device.
The Linhome app should ring within 1-3 seconds.
Answer the call and verify two-way audio and video.
8. ComfortClick intercom App Configuration
The intercom mobile app must be properly configured and registered to receive calls from the intercom.
8.1 Account Setup
Install the ComfortClick intercom app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Open the app and log in with the same Linhome cloud account credentials used to configure the 2N device.
Verify the account shows a green/connected status indicator, confirming it is registered to the SIP server.
9. Troubleshooting
9.1 Registration State: 403 Forbidden
This error means the SIP server is rejecting the credentials or identity. Check the following:
Phone Number (ID) in Calling > SIP 1 must match the SIP username exactly (e.g. comfortclick, not the full URI)
Domain must be sip.linhome.org, not a local IP address
Authentication ID must match the SIP username
Password must be correct — re-enter it to be sure
9.2 Button Gives Busy Signal
If the SIP registration is successful and the test call works, but pressing the physical button returns a busy signal:
Verify Button 1 is assigned to the comfortclick user in Calling > Dialing > Quick Dial Buttons
Check the Time Profile on the directory user's phone number is enabled (Section 5.3)
Ensure the Linhome app is open and showing as Online/Registered
Check that Do Not Disturb is not enabled in the Linhome app
9.3 No Audio on Call
If calls connect but there is no audio in one or both directions:
Check that the network does not block UDP traffic on ports 5060 and RTP port range (typically 10000-65535)
If the intercom is behind NAT, enable STUN in Calling > SIP 1 and configure a public STUN server
Verify audio codec settings in Calling > SIP 1 > Audio tab
9.4 No Video on Call
The 2N IP Verso 2.0 supports video calls using the H.264 codec. If video is not working:
Ensure H.264 is enabled in Calling > SIP 1 > Video tab
Confirm the Linhome app supports video calls for the current subscription tier
Check that sufficient network bandwidth is available
