Panel
Each main theme can have as many panels as it’s required. Panels have similar customization options as the main theme with some addtional client limitations.
If we already have a dedicated panel created within the tasks, we can use Clone function to display the already created theme in the
General
Positioning: Automatic or Free positioning.
Automatic positioning: Frames, buttons and any other new nodes will automatically scale and align according to the rows, spacing and other general settings.
Free positioning: Allows us to place any new node anywhere within the visualization panel, it also allows us to scale it as much as we want.
Rows: Number of rows reserved for frames or buttons.
Column width height ratio: The panel columns are resized according to this ratio. Smaller the value, thinner the frames.
Spacing: Space (in pixel) between frames.
Title: Title of the panel. The title of the panel is also displayed on the top of the visualization so it’s clearer which panel is opened.
Appearance:
Image: Image that represents the panel or theme. This image will be also displayed on the navigation bar.
Background color: Theme or panel background color. If the background image is smaller than the backround, we can see this background color instead of black.
Background image: Image that will layer on top of background color.
Navigation bar: Disabling the navigation bar will completely remove the bottom navigation menu. This allows more customization options and increase the real estate value for smaller displayes. Specially useful for Comfortclick’s Blade 4” panel.
With navigation bar
Without navigation bar
Layout background: Panel’s layout image, it’s only shown then Free positioning is enabled. This ensures the background is zoomed in when using the zoom option in free positioning.
Security
Admin: If enabled, this panel is not visible for users without Administrator privilages.
Users: Selection menu where we can select which user can see this panel. This allows certain users (guests or children) to not see specific panels (cameras, heating, alarm, etc)
Hidden: Hidden panels are visible in the menus and can only be accessed via shortcuts or panel links.
Locked: Panel locked by password. When we try to open this specific panel a password pop up will appear, requiring password in order to access the panel. The password is set in the main Theme node.
