Adding new server iOS

When we press + and select Add profile button in the main iOS application, server information section will open.

We have two different ways of adding a new server to our list.

First is using AccessID (recommended). Each server has a unique AccessID, bOS checks the connection to the server (local or remote) and connect to the correct IP accordingly.

If the iOS device is in the same network as the server it will connect to the local IP address, but if the device is on a different network, it will connect to the external IP address (or use ComfortClick’s Remote access service). Before each connection, ComfortClick will check the server’s settings (IP addresses) and connect to the correct IP each time.

Checking the manual configuration function will open the manual server settings. Here we manually add the server name, local/public IP and login credentials. If the IP address of the server changes, make sure to correct these settings as well, otherwise we will be connecting to the wrong IP address.
