ComfortClick Intercom Privacy Policy

ComfortClick d.o.o., Meskova ulica 4, SI-1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia ("ComfortClick", "we", "us", or "our"), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled when you use the ComfortClick Intercom mobile application (the "App").

1. Who We Are

ComfortClick d.o.o. is the controller for the personal data described in this policy that is processed directly by ComfortClick.

2. Overview of Data Processing

The ComfortClick Intercom App itself does not require users to create a ComfortClick account. However, certain features, including communication and intercom functionality, require users to create and use an account provided by the third-party Linhome service operated by Belledonne Communications.

3. Use of Linhome Services (Third-Party Controller)

To use communication features within the App, users must create and use a Linhome account. When Linhome services are used, the following categories of data may be processed:

  • account information such as username and email address
  • authentication credentials
  • communication data such as SIP calls, signaling data, and messages

These services are provided and operated by Belledonne Communications. Linhome acts as an independent controller for this data. Linhome's privacy policy is available at https://www.linhome.org/privacy-policy/.

4. Role of ComfortClick

ComfortClick provides the App interface and branding. ComfortClick does not store or manage Linhome user accounts, process Linhome authentication credentials, or access and store call or message content handled through Linhome services. That data is handled by Belledonne Communications.

5. Data Processed by ComfortClick

ComfortClick may process limited technical data necessary to operate and improve the App, such as:

  • device type and operating system
  • app version
  • crash logs and diagnostic information
  • basic non-identifiable usage information

This data is used only to improve performance and stability and to debug and resolve errors.

6. Legal Basis for Processing

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, ComfortClick generally relies on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for app functionality, stability, security, and improvement, and on consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where consent is required for optional processing activities.

Belledonne Communications processes personal data for Linhome services under its own legal bases, as described in Linhome's privacy policy.

7. Data Sharing

ComfortClick does not sell personal data. Data may be shared only where necessary with:

  • Linhome and Belledonne Communications for communication services
  • service providers that support diagnostics, hosting, monitoring, or similar operational functions, where applicable

Any such third parties are expected to comply with applicable data protection laws.

8. Data Retention

ComfortClick retains technical data only for as long as necessary for troubleshooting, performance monitoring, security, and service improvement. Retention periods are kept limited and reviewed regularly. Data handled by Belledonne Communications is retained according to its own policies.

9. International Transfers

If any personal data processed by ComfortClick is transferred outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses will be used where required. Belledonne Communications handles its own international transfers independently.

10. Your Rights

Where applicable, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing of, or port your personal data. To exercise rights relating to data processed by ComfortClick, contact info@comfortclick.com. For data processed by Belledonne Communications through Linhome services, please contact Belledonne Communications directly.

11. Security

ComfortClick applies reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the data it processes, including secure communication methods, limited collection, and access controls. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 16, and ComfortClick does not knowingly collect personal data from children through the App.

13. Changes to This Policy

ComfortClick may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be published on this page together with a revised effective date.
