At Nuuk International Airport, a robust and dependable lighting control solution was implemented to support safe and efficient airport operations in demanding Arctic conditions. Completed in 2024, the project uses ComfortClick Jigsaw Pro to manage the airport’s exterior lighting infrastructure.

The system enables centralized manual control of all exterior lights through a secure web interface and mobile application. Flight controllers in the control tower and authorized ground personnel manage lighting based on real-time visibility, weather conditions, and operational requirements, ensuring optimal illumination at all times.

In addition to lighting control, the solution provides continuous fault monitoring of the entire exterior lighting system. Any malfunction or irregularity is immediately detected, allowing maintenance teams to respond quickly and minimize downtime. This approach ensures high reliability and uninterrupted airport operations in one of the world’s most challenging environments.
