Project Description

Implemented by Seszero, this project brought intelligent lighting control to a shopping center in L'Eliana, near Valencia. The goal was to switch the facility's lighting automatically, based on real conditions and actual use of the space, instead of relying on fixed manual operation.

The lighting runs on KNX and is supervised by ComfortClick Jigsaw, which adds the control logic, scheduling and visualization on top of the installation.

A weather station sensor provides the input for lighting control. Combined with preset parameters and the presence of staff and the public, it determines when and where lights are switched on, so the center is lit when it is needed.

Scheduled programs define the operating state of the center, whether it is open, closed or running in one of several modes selected by the client. Each mode applies its own lighting behaviour, so the system adapts to the center's daily rhythm without manual intervention.

Every luminaire can still be operated manually or left to the ComfortClick control algorithm, giving the client automated operation with full control whenever it is required.
