Project Description

The Castellerio Archiepiscopal Seminary modernized its 20-year-old KNX installation with ComfortClick. Delivered by STI Engineering S.r.l., the project preserved the existing field devices and replaced only the IP/KNX gateway. The new supervision platform brings room climate control, lighting, assistance calls, Air Handling Units and the heating plant together in one interface.

Custom logic extends the capabilities of the legacy thermostats and adds flexible room management. Operators can schedule rooms centrally or individually, switch between Comfort, Economy and Protection modes, and coordinate the Air Handling Units with room requirements. The project gives the Seminary modern, hotel-style building management while extending the life of its original KNX investment.
